Next Up Hollywood: If you could act opposite any actor and/or actress, who would you choose? Why?

Johnny Depp because he is someone that successfully made the jump from kid actor to adult actor. He is someone who always reinvents himself in characters and chooses good projects. He also stays out of “the scene” you never read about him doing bad things.

Next Up Hollywood: If you could be directed by anyone, who would be your ideal choice? Why?

Martin Scorsese. I love to read and his movies all seem to be books or paintings come to life, unfolding in front of you. I loved Hugo!!! It was amazing. I’d love to do a movie directed by him. To be inside ‘the book”

Next Up Hollywood: If you could star in any film— past, present, or future, what would you pick?  Why?

My favorite book has always been “The Westing Game,” I would have loved to have been in that movie. I love mysteries.

Next Up Hollywood: Out of all the superheroes and iconic movie roles, which do you wish you could have played?  (I.e. Indiana Jones, James Bond, Spiderman, etc)

Superman because he has special gifts like being able to fly, having X-ray vision, healing powers, and a perfect memory. I have always thought it would be cool to spend my day saving people. That would be a fun role to play!

Next Up Hollywood: If you had to choose one, would you want to be an action hero, comedy star, or dramatic actor?

Although I love a good dramatic challenge, (like the time I played a boy dying of cancer on the tv show, Rescue Me,) when I do comedy, I always come home from set from a whole day of laughing…. Laughing at your lines, laughing with others. You just feel good. There is something great about being able to make others laugh- knowing that if you nailed your lines right, the person who sees your film will laugh too. I think thats a great.
